What to expect!

We know that visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. It is important to remember that we here at Bethel Baptist Church are just regular people who are encouraging each other to love, serve, and worship the Lord.

Our most important desire for anyone coming to Bethel Baptist Church is, the ability for the Lord to speak to your heart. We also then want to ensure that you feel welcome. When you come to Bethel Baptist Church you will find a family like atmosphere where people are genuine, and much is made of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Below are a few of our most recently asked questions that might help make your visit a little easier!

Where do I take my children?

Bethel Baptist Church cares about the entire family. Our Children are the church of Today! If you arive in time for Sunday School we have a class specifically designed to teach the word of God in an age appropriate manner.

  • Nursery- Birth thru 3 years of age
  • Beginners- 4 years old to 1st Grade
  • Primary- 2nd Grade - 5th Grade

During our Sunday Morning worship we have a special service designed to teach God's word to children in our Children's Church. Our Children are dismissed from the main service with our workers after a time of singing!

All of our children workers are background checked, and go through an online training before working with our children. You can rest assured that your children are in a safe, clean, and attended environment.

WHat about my teenagers

Sunday Mornings during Sunday School and each Wednesday night, our teens meet for a T.R.U.T.H meeting.  T.R.U.T.H stands for "Teens Reserved Unto True Holiness".

We are mindful that the teenage years are the most important developmental years for a spiritual life and walk with Christ. Our youth leaders encourage participation and dialog for the purpose of developing an understanding of a Christ-centered life.

All of our youth workers are background checked, and go through an online training before working with our youth.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Feel free to park in any available parking spaces. We have handicapped spaced available as well as spaces marked for our Senior Saints, to be of assistance should you need it.

Where should I go when I enter the building?

Upon arriving at Bethel Baptist Church, you will see two separate buildings. Our Sanctuary is located in the building with the steeple atop of it. This is where our adult Sunday School Class is held and our regular services. The building closest to the parking lot is our children's Sunday School, Nursery, and Fellowship Hall. You can always find one of our Ushers who will be more than happy to help you find your way!

What should I wear?

Bethel Baptist Church does not have a dress code for members or guests. Our ministry leaders, and many of our church family, dress in more traditional “Sunday Best”; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcomed and comfortable on your visit to Bethel Baptist Church!

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

No. You are not invited to Bethel Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you! Our desire is that you will find a warm and friendly spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. As a guest, please do not feel any obligation to participate in the offering.
